CENTRAL COAST NATURAL HISTORY ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES
NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Mary Golden has joined the Central Coast Natural History Association as its new Executive Director. The CCNHA is a local nonprofit founded in 1976 to partner with our local state parks “Many local residents don’t realize the role CCNHA plays with State Parks,” said Cathy Novak, Chairman of the Board of Directors. “We fund and support educational and interpretive programs within our parks that promote understanding and conservation of local natural and cultural resources.”

Up Close in the Parks 2008 Event Reception
The Central Coast Natural History Association will open its annual Up Close in the Parks Art Exhibit with an Artists’ reception at the Morro Bay Museum of Natural History, Tuesday, May 6 from 5-7 pm. The event is free and open to the public. Wine and appetizers will be served along with spectacular views of the bay. The artists will be available to discuss their work.
